By 2095, the lingering radiation and chemical spills from collapsed mega-corporations began to alter their DNA significantly. Geckos in Sector 4 developed bioluminescent skin, acting as walking flashlights in the eternal smog.
In Sector 7, where the silicon foundries melted down, their scales turned to living metal. They didn't just survive the apocalypse; they synthesized it. They became part machine, part beast—the RetroReptiles.
